Responsible gambling
Gambling should be entertainment — never a way to make money or solve financial problems. Here you find the tools that help you play in moderation.
18+ age limit
You must be at least 18 to register and play at Casinostugan. We verify your age and identity before the account is opened. Gambling is forbidden for anyone under 18, and you must not let minors access your account.
Limits
Under Swedish gambling law you must set limits before you start playing for real money. With us it is a mandatory step — not something you can skip.
- Deposit limit — the maximum you can deposit per day, week and month.
- Time limit — how long you can be logged in and play.
- Loss limit — the most you can lose over a period.
You can lower a limit immediately. An increase takes effect only after a cooling-off period, in line with the regulations.
Spelpaus.se
Spelpaus is Sweden's national self-exclusion service. If you self-exclude via Spelpaus.se you cannot play at any licensed operator in Sweden for the period you chose, and you will not receive any gambling ads. We check your status against Spelpaus before you get access to games.
Self-test
A self-test helps you reflect on your gambling habits. Consider these honestly:
- Do you play for more money or longer than you intended?
- Have you tried to win back money you lost?
- Have you borrowed money or sold things to be able to play?
- Has gambling affected your sleep, mood, work or relationships?
- Has someone close to you expressed concern about your gambling?
If you recognise yourself in several of these, there may be reason to set stricter limits, take a break or seek support. A more thorough test is available at Stödlinjen.
Help & support
You are never alone. These organisations offer free and confidential support:
- Stödlinjen — 020-81 91 00, stodlinjen.se.
- Spelpaus.se — national self-exclusion.
- Your health centre can refer you to support and treatment.
Duty of care
We have a statutory duty of care. This means we monitor gaming patterns and may reach out or take action if we see signs that gambling is becoming a problem — for example rapidly rising deposits or playing time. The aim is to protect you, not to sell more gambling.
Signs of risk
Gambling may have become a problem if you recognise any of these: you play to escape worry or low mood, chase losses, hide how much you play, or prioritise gambling over things that used to matter. Take the signs seriously — set limits or take a break.
